Built for ionizable-lipid discovery and RNA delivery research
DC Chemicals supports formulation and delivery research with a broad, searchable portfolio of cationic and ionizable lipids. The current directory brings together 848 unique research-use products, with product specifications, pricing, chemical structures and literature-linked formulation data added as each record is verified.
Our experience spans complex lipid synthesis, purification, analytical release and process development. For custom molecules or larger-scale requirements, our team can discuss route development, technical specifications and scale-up options for the intended research workflow.
Learn about cationic and ionizable lipids →From proprietary lipid design to GMP-grade custom synthesis
DC Chemicals has independently developed ionizable-lipid structures supported by company-owned intellectual property, and selected proprietary lipid programs have advanced to GMP-stage development.
We welcome joint development with customers—from molecular design and lipid synthesis through route and process development. We can also support custom synthesis of GMP-grade ionizable lipids to agreed technical specifications and quality requirements.

Nitisinone(SC0735) is an inhibitor of the enzyme 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase.Nitisinone is a drug used to slow the effects of hereditary tyrosinemia type 1. Nitisinone reduced urinary HGA levels from an average of 4.0 +/- 1.8 (SD) g/day to 0.2 +/- 0.2 g/day ( P < .001). Low-dose nitisinone effectively reduced urinary HGA levels in patients with alkaptonuria. Future long-term clinical trials are planned to determine the benefits of nitisinone in preventing joint deterioration and providing pain relief, and its long-term side effects [1]. Nitisinone can prevent the development of liver disease and significantly reduce the risk of developing hepatocellular carcinoma; however, vigorous surveillance for the development of HCC needs to be continued lifelong [2].

Bohemine is a purine analogue and is a synthetic and selective CDK inhibitor with IC50s of 4.6 μM, 83 μM, and 2.7 μM for Cdk2/cyclin E, Cdk2/cyclin A, and Cdk9/cyclin T1, respectively. Bohemine also inhibits ERK2 with an IC50 of 52 μM and has less inhibitory effect on CDK1, CDK4 and CDK6. Bohemine has a broad spectrum anti-cancer activities[1][2].

Liproxstatin-1 is a potent ferroptosis inhibitor, with IC50 of approximately 38 nM.

Vesnarinone is a quinolinone derivative, and its pharmacodynamic effects include inhibition of phosphodiesterase III (PDE3) activity, increases in calcium flux and decreases in potassium flux.

Omarigliptin(MK-3102) is a potent, selective and long-acting DPP-4 inhibitor with IC50 of 1.6 nM; highly selective over allproteases tested (IC50 > 67 μM).IC50 value: 1.6 nM [1]Target: DPP-4 inhibitorin vitro: Omarigliptin has weak ion channel activity (IC50 > 30 μM at IKr, Cav1.2, and Nav1.5). An expansive selectivity counterscreen (168 radioligand binding or enzymatic assays) was carried out at MDS Pharma. An IC50 > 10 μM was obtained in all assays. in vivo: When orally administered 1 h prior to dextrose challenge in an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), it significantly reduced blood glucose excursion in a dose-dependent manner from 0.01 mg/kg (7% reduction in glucose AUC) to 0.3 mg/kg (51% reduction).
