Tranylcypromine HCl is an inhibitor of monoamine oxidase (MAO) and prostacyclin synthase, potently suppresses the enzymatic activity of Lysine-Specific Demethylase 1 (LSD1) (IC50 <2 μM for BHC110/LSD1).
