ssPalmO-Phe is a self-degradable ionizable lipid-like material studied for hepatic delivery of siRNA and antisense oligonucleotides. The reported siRNA and ASO formulations differ in composition and loading. Strong knockdown was accompanied by cargo-dependent liver toxicity in the ASO experiments.
