N/P & ionizable lipid:RNA ratio

Calculate ionizable lipid requirements with an explicit nitrogen-site and RNA-phosphate counting basis.

Your inputs

Use the nitrogen sites counted by your method, not every nitrogen atom in the formula.
This must match your RNA/phosphate convention. Example 330 is an approximation, not a universal constant.

Calculation basis

n(P) = RNA mass / mass per mole of counted phosphate. N/P = n(lipid) × counted N sites / n(P). The mass ratio is ionizable lipid:RNA only; DSPC, cholesterol and PEG-lipid are excluded. Stoichiometric N/P does not specify protonation or binding.
