Lipid 35
Instructions for Use
Product information
Lipid 35 is an novel ionizable lipid designed to enhance the delivery of mRNA to specific tissues, particularly the lungs.Lipid 35 demonstrates superior chemical stability, especially in storage conditions. This stability ensures that the lipid maintains its integrity over extended periods, making it ideal for long-term storage and large-scale production.Lipid 35 exhibits high transfection efficiency in various cell types, including nonimmune cells, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells. Lipid 35 has demonstrated excellent biocompatibility and safety in preclinical studies. It does not cause significant liver damage or adverse immune responses, making it a safer alternative for therapeutic applications.

N/P is the molar ratio of specified lipid nitrogen groups to nucleic-acid phosphate groups. A lipid:cargo mass ratio is a different quantity and must not be used as N/P.
Stock-solution preparation table
Calculated from the product-page molecular weight: 921.53 g/mol. Volumes are final solution volumes.
| Lipid mass | 1 mM | 5 mM | 10 mM |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 mg | 10.852 mL | 2.170 mL | 1.085 mL |
| 25 mg | 27.129 mL | 5.426 mL | 2.713 mL |
| 50 mg | 54.258 mL | 10.852 mL | 5.426 mL |
| 100 mg | 108.515 mL | 21.703 mL | 10.852 mL |
| 250 mg | 271.288 mL | 54.258 mL | 27.129 mL |
Volume (mL) = mass (mg) × 1000 / [MW (g/mol) × concentration (mM)]. These are mathematical conversions, not measured solubility or validated solvent recommendations. Confirm solvent compatibility and the molecular weight of the exact material before use.

Provided that storage conditions are as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to 1 year.
Wherever possible, prepare and use solutions on the same day. If stock solutions must be prepared in advance, store them as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20°C. Generally, these will be usable for up to one month.
Before use, and prior to opening the vial, allow the product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour.
